Hey all, just a few things in the phenomenal world of Salvo youth and Corps Cadets!

- First, INSANE 2012: CARNIVAL is getting closer and the rego forms are going out now! Talk to your youthworkers, corps officers or DYSs about the event, or go to www.TSAYOUT.com. CARNIVAL is coming- it’s party time and you’re invited!

- Second, we just got the latest Corps Cadets mini-mag, book 1D, back from the printers today and it’s a solid finish to the Book 1 resource series. It contains more practical and fun material on spiritual disciplines, scriptural narrative, active mission and Salvationist identity. Ask your youthworker or corps officers about the program.

- Third… I don’t really have a third… but I just felt like there should be because all good things come in threes: Star Wars and Lord of The Rings movies, the persons of the Godhead, donuts, etc…

And now may the Lord bless you and keep you and smash you with all sort of divine blessings, so that an abundance of joy and peace and cartoon-esque superpowers may aid you in your ever growing quest to change the world and get your hands around the devil’s throat. Amen.

Welcome to the Corps Cadets wiki, an online encyclopedia built for the young followers of Jesus in The Salvation Army. Here, Corps Cadets can learn more about spiritual disciplines, scriptural narrative, active mission and Salvationist identity and what that all might mean for a 21st century world.

The information here is drawn mostly from the Bible, Chosen To Be A Soldier, The Orders and Regulations, The Handbook of Doctrine and the Corps Cadets mini-mags. The entries and definitions found here have been especially created to work in conjunction with the content of the current curriculum of the Corps Cadets program.

Most of all, Corps Cadets wiki exists in the hope that young followers of Jesus might grow spiritually in their reasoning, experiences, scriptural instruction and Army involvement and have some fun at the same time.

So Corps Cadets, have a look around, start searching and learning and have a blast.
